4. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2
Based on the critically-acclaimed novel by Suzanne Collins, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 follows the Nation of Panem, encouraged by District 13, scale an all-out rebellion war against the autocratic Capitol, with Katniss Everdeen at the forefront of the revolt as the peoples Mockingjay – a much needed symbol of hope in a time of fear and death. 3. Jurassic World
At number 3, we have the highly-anticipated, next chapter of the Jurassic Park series, Jurassic World. Executively produced by the legendary Steven Spielberg, the franchise is thought to hit new heights, promising an exceptional Jurassic experience - set to be bigger, louder and with more teeth! 22 years since the catastrophic dino-fuelled events of Jurassic Park, the iconic gates are open once again on June 12th with John Hammonds’ dream of a fully functional park, finally being bought to life. The introduction of a new hybrid dinosaur, created in a laboratory from a cocktail of genes, is set to drum up excitement for what seems to be a dying tourist attraction. The question is - does a full park mean happy campers or easy-pickings for the Indominus Rex, herself? Perhaps we’ll find out if she somehow manages to… let’s say, escape? Clever girl.
2. Star Wars Episode VII – The Force Awakens
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away… a franchise of galactic proportion was born. 2015 will see the next instalment of the space opera make its debut with Star Wars Episode VII – The Force Awakens, hitting big screens December 18th. Picking up, what is rumoured to be, 30 years after Episode VI – Return of The Jedi, the wildly-speculated plot will see Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford reprise their roles as Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Han Solo from the original trilogy. Disney are attempting to remain coy regarding the new storyline, characters and filming locations for the 7th film however, everyone’s favourite double act, R2D2 and C3PO have been confirmed to return. With a budget of over $200 million and J.J. Abrams as director, the film undoubtedly deserves a place in our top 5 blockbusters of 2015.

1. Avengers: Age of Ultron
With The Avengers being the third highest grossing film of ALL time according to Box Office Mojo, it may come as no surprise that our top spot goes to the films upcoming sequel, The Avengers: Age of Ultron. Yet again, the fate of the world is balanced in the hands of Earths mightiest hero’s as the Avengers assemble once more, battling the fearsome Ultron and his desire to destroy the human race and existence as we know it. The film introduces two new mysterious recruits, with names almost as fierce as their super-powers, as sibling duo Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch join the fray. With refreshed costumes, weapons and a brand spanking new HQ, courtesy of Tony Stark of-course, what more could we ask for? Let’s just hope the gang manage to keep their differences aside this time as we all know what happens when Bruce Banner loses his cool. We’re far too excited to witness the action-packed, superhero goodness of what is set to be not only the biggest superhero film this year (sorry Antman!), but also one of the biggest films of 2015.
